Let's Get Your Marvel On
We know weddings are great, but they can be stressful, as well. We want to help you remember that your day is going to be great!
get to know us a bit
My wife and I run this business, and our story in a bit unique. We are two ex-teachers. I worked with high school drop-outs for over 15 years, and as a result, picked up a camera for the first time to document the lives of my amazing students. Chela was a college professor turned pre-school teacher extraordinaire because she was committed to helping little ones reach their potential.
For the past 11 years, as we built TMRealpics, we came to realize that our unique backgrounds make us really well suited to being in rooms with people and listening to them and helping them see themselves. We aren’t just photographers or storytellers, we want to help folks figure out what one of the most important days in their lives should look like.
But maybe more importantly, years of service has taught us that life is about helping others. And if you like what you see, let’s chat and see if we can help lighten the load a bit.

Excellent from beginning to end
Gabe was amazing! His energy is off the charts and it's very apparent that he truly loves what he does. He was incredibly helpful, very responsive and flexible. The photos came out amazing and he truly captured the best parts of the day. He was realistic about what may or may not not work and worked with the vision of what we wanted captured. I also have to commend him for traveling far to get to us, and he went with us to 4 different locations within his allotted time. Thank you so much Gabe!

Personal Projects
Personal projects are essential for artists, particularly for wedding and portrait photographers, as they provide an invaluable opportunity to explore creativity. I engage in personal work because it allows me to experiment with new techniques, styles, and concepts, which make me a better image-maker for my clients.
But there is also the added benefit that looking at my projects lets prospective clients know what makes me tick, what drives who I am. Weddings and portrait sessions are deeply personal if done right. Here are a couple projects that let you know who I am to see if I am the right fit for you.

The Vessel Project
This project seeks to explore the intersection of dance and visual storytelling through captivating portraits of dancers. By capturing the essence of each dancer's unique movement and personality, the portraits aim to convey the stories behind their art, revealing the emotions, struggles, and triumphs that define their journey. Each photograph serves not only as a representation of a dancer but as a narrative device that invites viewers to delve deeper into the world of dance. Through careful composition, lighting, and expression, we will create images that resonate with the audience, communicating the power and beauty of dance. This project celebrates the human experience, showcasing how movement can tell profound stories and connect individuals across different backgrounds. Ultimately, it highlights the artistry and emotion inherent in dance, transforming portraits into a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences.

Educators 4 Equity
In a transformative project dedicated to highlighting the vital contributions of educators committed to social equity and diversity, we embarked on a journey to create a series of portraits that capture their essence and impact. Each portrait will not only showcase the individuality of these remarkable educators but also narrate their inspiring stories of advocacy and change. By using various artistic mediums, we aim to emphasize the skills and dedication these individuals bring to their classrooms and communities, fostering inclusive environments for all students. The project will also engage the community through workshops and discussions, encouraging dialogue about the importance of diversity in education. Ultimately, our goal is to celebrate these champions of equity, illuminating their role in shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for generations to come.
As mentioned above, I am an educator by training, and I discovered a love og photos through that work. As a result, I am really interested in talking about "second" or third or fourth acts of people's lives. We host a podcast that looks at how people start new phases in their lives--personal, romantic and professional. You can check out our podcast clicking on the button below.

A great guy to work with!
We had so much fun working with Gabe! He took amazing pictures and handled our wedding crowd well (we have big families!). He went above and beyond by getting down in the wet grass to get the best shots! We are so happy with our pictures. 10/10 recommend working with Gabe.
